Simply put we are hard working Americans like yourselves striving to do the best job that we can for your service and enjoyment. You will like the personal service you receive. If you call, we will answer the phone with a real person to talk to you. “Hello! Thank you for calling GeeWhiz Store. Staff speaking, How may I help you?”

If you are in our store (lucky you) you may use our bathrooms. They are not modern but we keep them clean. You want to bring your nice dog in? We have water for him or her and you and a biscuit for him or her.

You may be able to talk us into gift wrapping your new items for free, in our store or for your mail order. You know… it’s the Golden Rule.

Rentals

You keep us going! You need things and want things and information. Your desires will be met. Yes, you may rent instead of purchasing some items and gear. Your going on a back pack trip and need a bear proof canister – You need a tent and pads and sleeping bags – You need a baby stroller – You need a bathroom – your dog needs water – You want to take your family snow shoeing with ski poles-. Go on – we have your needs covered! You can reserve rentals for specific future dates also.

We’ve been right here on main street since 1947 serving our locals and visitors who love the outdoors. We package and mail world wide, to those of you who can’t visit us in person. Your prices will be the same as they are in the store. The same price for everybody is the fairest way.
